All Connecticut Chinese Chorus

The All Connecticut Chinese Chorus (ACCC) consists of choral music enthusiasts from New Haven, Hartford, New London, and all other areas in Connecticut. The ACCC is proud of being a member of the North American Chorus Association (NACA), which was established in the fall of 2007. With the objectives of promoting Chinese choral arts and cultural diversity in the community, members of ACCC seek harmony and joy via making and appreciation of music.

The ACCC has proven itself being a highly talented musical group through many appearances in a series of great musical events: Yellow River Cantata and its encore performances at the Fifth Boston Chinese Arts Festival, the joint competition led by Boston Eastern Heritage Choir at the Fourth World Choir Games in Xiamen, China where the group won the Silver and Bronze Awards,and Sounds of Harmony in celebration of the forming of NACA. Among all these memorable moments and remarkable achievements, what make ACCC’s members proud the most are the two Connecticut Chinese Arts Festivals held in 2006 and 2007 at Yale University. In 2008, ACCC members have participated in the Warm China 2008 concert , China Earthquake Relief concert , and Happy Gathering Concert. The ACCC is currently in preparation of Chinese New Year Celebration concert - Qingdao Symphony Orchestra on January 24. The ACCC continues its way with the mission to promote arts and cultural exchanges through its future endevor.

Under the direction of Artistic Director and Conductor Wanjun Qiao, the ACCC is striving for continuing growth with the mission of promoting Chinese choral music in Connecticut and ealsewhere, participating in community cultural activities, and enriching its members' musical appreciation and performance experience. With confidence and enthusiasm, the ACCC continues to make its effort to become one of the greatest Chinese choruses in New England and US.
